Thank you for volunteering! Commencement would not be possible without the involvement and support of Georgia Tech faculty and staff.

Be a Commencement Volunteer!

Join the volunteer team to assist with this semester’s ceremony, and help make this achievement wonderful and memorable for our new alumni. We have a number of ways you can pitch in:

  • Graduate Entrance Directional Assistance: Help manage graduate line traffic, ensuring each graduate is wearing the correct regalia and has their GradPass.
  • Graduate Seating Assistance: Assist students in finding their seats, and make sure they are seated when the ceremony begins.
  • Seating Assistance: Guide guests requiring accessible accommodations to their seats in the appropriate assigned sections.
  • Volunteer Room Assistance: Assist volunteers with headsets, answer questions, etc., and prepare the room for the next ceremony.
